Inline edit

Hello ,

Is inline Edit suppose to work in Classic 2.6.9 ?
I can't make it works :-(

@Eroll‍ yeah its suppose to work. On some data types like images, and emails, it will not work even if you enable it.
check below for attachment(Annotation 2019-12-19 121432.png) showing steps 1 and 2.

1. make sure InlineEdit is set to true. When you configure InlineEdit from here, it applies the configuration to all fields in a List Page.
2. make sure InlineEdit is set to true. When you configure InlineEdit from here, it applies the configuration to only the field you are working on.

I forgot to mention on a view page ;-)
When there are a lot of fields ( ->not all displayed on the list page) it's less usefull. But should be great to get this on a view page.

@Eroll‍ the inline edit is just for the List Page, it does not work and it is not meant to work for the view page. please check below the View page there is an edit button for users to easily edit the current record they are viewing.

I know is an older post.  but is the closest I found.

how do you disable the inline for a field that is referenced to another table?

see attached screenshots.

Upload folder is full.  Cant upload screen shoots
