logo requirements

Hi,  I use 2.7.3

I cant seem to get a site logo to appear even though it is in the settings.  Do images need to be a certain file type and size?

I have added the logo into the project settings and published.
Does it work with png files?

Had the same issue displaying the logo in my localhost server.  Resolved when I correctly setup the Virtual Host for the site.    :)
