DefaultValue for Selectfield not working

Setting a default value for a selectfield doesn't work,

Hi

did you make the column from your table that contains a number (1) for the country the linked field for the select VALUE? If you want a default GERMANY and you have linked a text field containing the countrynames, you should probaly type GERMANY.
