List page search does not searching on the "label" of "master detail tables"

I've try to search a record on a table list, the table is composed of table fields and master detali fields.
I can't search on master detail fields linked to the table, i've take a look on the controller source and is not defined the search on sql.
Is possible to make it without edit manually the controller files ?
